“ This restaurant is a bit out of our way but based on a recommendation we gave it a try. So glad we did, flavor is on point. Tried variety of items, from char grilled oysters, taste of New Orleans with 3 choice items to beignets. Love them all. Planning to bring family on our next visit. The ambiance is very up beat and themed to New Orleans. Service is great, our server was great even though he was busy. ”

I went twice in a week, but times were chefs kiss Food: Shrimp po'boy: they add sooooo much shrimp and it's delicious Gumbo: dreaming of that sauce still Brunch: friend chicken is worth the wait! “ We met one of the owners elsewhere, a super nice guy. So we came to check out the restaurant and were surprised by what a cool place it is. It's beautiful inside with great decor. And I have to mention, three bathrooms, no waiting. The owner suggested the Mardi Gras Pasta. OMG, that was incredibly delicious. We also had a beer and the Swamp Tea. Couldn't have has a better meal - but that's only the first time we were there, so more to try! ”

“ We were intrigued by the name of this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We're not experts in New Orleans cuisine but we like really good food that is authentic and this is the place for it. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and the food and service are top notch. We went to Sunday brunch and were immediately seated and attended to by the wait staff. The owner is hands on and made sure the diners were happy. The "bottom less Mimosas" are for real, with speedy refills. With live jazz softly in the background, we ordered the bread pudding French toast and the Shrimp Benedict. Both dishes were divine. The food here is not from the microwave. It's all prepared fresh..so you can relax and enjoy the experience. It's well worth it and we'll definitely be back. Thank you! ”
“ I thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was a bit salty though and I enjoy my food on the salty side so keep that in mind if you don't like your food too salty. I think it's a bit expensive compared to other restos with similar cuisine and serving amount, so while it was a nice place to check out, I'm not sure if it would be a go-to place. ”
“ Okay, I should have posted an honest review of this place a lot sooner. I've been here multiple times now and even invited and treated family and friends. This has become one of my favorite "hole in the wall" go to places to eat. I'm here now for the Sunday Brunch and all I can say is that IT IS NECESSARY FOR YOU TO TRY IT! I've been spoiled with the $10 bottomless Mimosas and the Waffles and Catfish Bites. These Waffles literally melt in your mouth with the warm butter and syrup. I gotta get this recipe!! The fish is lightly battered and has an amazing flavor with not being over seasoned. They got it right! Anyway, I think you see my point. Moving on... If you're a pasta lover, I really highly recommend the Mardi Gras Pasta. I'm not gonna give too much detail on this other than saying it's in my top 3 of favorite foods things to get. I want you to be surprised (It's AMAZING). I don't want to make this a too long of a review, but I can't stress enough how good the food is. The crawfish and shrimp are so good as well, but I suggest you ask for an extra side of rice when you order. The portions here are decent for the current price, but I suggest you get here quick before the economy changes. You know what I'm talking about. That's the upside, the only downside here is that the food takes awhile to arrive. Usually a 15-20 minute wait on average. Remember it's a "Hole in the Wall" spot and the kitchen is not that big so I want you to go in knowing that. Be patient. It's worth it. They also have a saxophone player playing soft jazz in the background or a great selection of New Orleans music that transports you to the bayou country. If you come in for Sunday brunch I also recommend you make a reservation. It gets crowded fast! Any other time during the week it's not necessary as far as I can tell. My food just got here so I gotta go. Anyway, I hope this helped you and I hope you enjoy this place just as much as I do. Enjoy, I'll see you back here soon. ”
“ I 10000% recommend the business and I'm going back every single chance I get. My friends and I planned to try this establishment out because who doesn't like to try new places and baby it's creole food ?? The food was AMAZING. There's live music, jazz to be exact ! & the bottomless mimosas were flowing. We tried everything from, fried catfish, crab cakes, jambalaya, red beans and rice, shrimp étouffée, Mac and cheese , loaded hash, southern potato's , grilled oysters , wings, shrimp and grits and gumbo. Our servers were very friendly and welcoming. ”
